The elusive, BLUE BADGE!!!

I received the most fantastic news today that I was awarded the FIAP Blue Badge by the 3rd Creative International Salon. To my non-photo friends, this means I won the award for being the photographer with the most acceptances, and awards, in the whole competition.

These are really elusive awards, with only one being awarded in each salon. I join a very small number of people in Ireland that have been awarded one of these, a group I'm honoured to be part of!

The competition itself had over 3,000 entries from 30 countries.Overall, I had all eight of my prints accepted and six of my digital photos. I also won 4 medals, 2 ribbons and 2 cash prize. Sorta cleaned up :) :)
